I believe that life is about the people we meet, the relationships we build, and the opportunity to make a difference in someone else’s life. Looking back on my journey, I realize that helping people has been the one constant throughout every chapter of my life.
I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 43 wonderful years. Together, we have raised three children, and today we are blessed to be grandparents. We will soon have eight grandchildren, and they bring so much joy, laughter, and love into our lives. Family is, without a doubt, one of the greatest blessings in my life.
In 1988, my husband and I made the big move from New York to Arizona. We never once regretted that decision. Arizona has been our home for nearly four decades, and we now have lived here longer than we ever lived in New York. We proudly consider ourselves native Arizonans!
My career has taken me down several different paths, and each one has taught me something valuable.
I spent 14 years as an X-ray technologist, a career I truly loved. I enjoyed working with people and being able to help them during times when they needed someone who was caring, compassionate, and reassuring.
Then life presented me with an exciting opportunity to own my own business—and I jumped at it!
For 16 years, I owned and operated a small coffee shop in Glendale, Arizona, called A Shot of Java. Owning a small business was an incredible experience. It was hard work, but I loved every minute of it. I met so many wonderful people, built lasting relationships, and learned firsthand the importance of treating every person who walks through your door with kindness and respect.
And perhaps most importantly, my years in the coffee shop reinforced something I already knew about myself:
I love people, and I love helping people.
Today, that passion has led me to real estate.
I truly love what I do. Real estate gives me the opportunity to help people during some of the biggest and most important transitions of their lives. Whether I am helping someone find a place to call home, selling a home that holds years of memories, relocating to Arizona, or simply helping someone figure out what their next step should be, I feel fortunate to be part of their journey.
My three careers may seem very different from one another, but when I look back, I see a common thread running through all of them: people.
As an X-ray technologist, I helped people.
As a small-business owner, I served people and built relationships.
And as a Realtor, I get to help people make their dreams come true.
I don’t take that responsibility lightly.
When you choose me as your Realtor, I want you to know that you are getting more than someone who can help you buy or sell a house. You are getting someone who believes in honesty, communication, hard work, and treating people the way I would want my own family to be treated.
I am grateful for the journey that brought me here, and I am excited about the people I have yet to meet and the stories I have yet to be a part of.
After all these years, one thing remains the same:
I love helping people—and I feel incredibly lucky that real estate allows me to do what I love every day.
