About Melissa York
Melissa is a native of the Pacific Northwest, she and her husband raised their 4 children in the Portland Oregon area. Though, they lived in Oregon, she is no stranger to Arizona, as she and her husband frequently spent time here over the years. They had always wanted to make the move to Arizona and as soon as they had the opportunity, they jumped on it.
Melissa enjoyed a successful career of 23 years in marketing and advertising sales, by always putting her customers first. Melissa’s experience gives her strong negotiation skills, experience in dealing with clients of all backgrounds, and extensive knowledge of buyer and seller behavior. Honestly, integrity and tenacity being the basis of her career.
Melissa learned from a young age that discipline and hard work pay off. Dance and fitness have been on the forefront and in the background since early childhood. She started tap, jazz and ballet lessons at 5 years old and began performing with the Schell School of Dance Tour Group at age 8. She spent 5 seasons as a cheerleader in the NBA with the Portland Trailblazers. Spent years as a high school Dance Team Coach, taught in studio, as well as Dance Fitness in gyms. She even owned her own dance fitness studio, MYFit Nation while still working full time in advertising.
Why real estate sales? Since 2010, Melissa and her husband have invested in multiple properties including investment properties. Always investigating and tracking real estate market trends. Her marketing experience, sales experience and real estate investment background makes it a natural progression to go into the industry as a career.
