1. Glendale Visitor Center/Historic Old Town

Where: 5800 W. Glenn Drive Suite 140 Glendale, AZ

Hours: Mon-Sat 10am-5pm

If you are looking for something to do in Glendale then you need to visit the Glendale visitor center! They have free maps that can direct you to hundreds of destinations in Glendale that are suitable for the whole family. And the visitors center is located in historic old town so you will have already travelled to one of the most interesting places in Glendale. Old Town is thriving day and night and is a must see destination in Glendale.

2. Wet’N’Wild Water Park

Where: 4243 W Pinnacle Peak Road Glendale, AZ

Hours: Saturday-Sunday 11am-5pm

Wet’N’Wild water park is a 25 acre facility that features some of the most amazing water rides in the world. It features the world’s first dueling slide where two people race each other to the bottom! Wet’N’Wild also has something for everyone in the family. It features rides that vary from extreme (Serpentine Complex) to mild (Lazy River), and even has an area safe for kids. With dining facilities on site, the only things you need to bring are a bathing suit, sunscreen, and the willingness to get wet!

3. Sahuaro Ranch Park

Where: 9802 North 59th Avenue Glendale, AZ

Hours: 6am-Sunset

Sahuaro Ranch Park is listed on the national register of historic places, and is known as “the showplace of the valley”. Sahuaro Ranch offers activities, exhibits, and guided tours of how early settlers in the valley were able to survive. Sahuaro Ranch Park sits on 17 acres of historic land that features 13 original buildings, a rose garden, a barnyard, and a historic apple orchard! These areas are even available to rent for your next big event!

4. Arrowhead Towne Center

Where: 7700 W Arrowhead Towne Center, Glendale, AZ

Hours: Mon-Sat 10am-9pm, Sun 11am-6pm

Arrowhead Towne Center is a regionally enclosed shopping mall that has everything from an Apple store to an AMC movie theatre! There is no need to travel across Arizona to shop luxuriously because Arrowhead Towne Center has all of the major brands including Swarovski, Coach, and the valley’s first Sephora. The mall also has a variety of eating options that you and your family will love!

5.University of Phoenix Stadium

Where: 1 Cardinals Drive Glendale, AZ

Hours: Vary depending on venue, check the website

One of the most recognizable venues in Glendale is the University of Phoenix stadium. Known mostly as the home of the NFL’s Arizona Cardinals, the stadium is home to many other events as well.
